The Men’s class is taking a hiatus, but will be meeting again on August 17.

Rick’s class—Kissing Religion Goodbye—will meet again on August 10 and will be discussing two questions: (1) If you’re saved no matter how you live, what incentive is there for living a virtuous, obedient life? and (2) If you know you’re always forgiven, then what incentive is there for ever repenting?

Women's Canoe Trip and Lunch

Service Schedule Change

On Sunday, August 3, we will be having one worship service at 10 am to celebrate the completion of this year’s VBS. There will be no Sunday School, but there will be fellowship time in Fellowship Hall following the service. The Saturday night service and healing service scheduled for August 2nd will meet as usual.

Iron Men's Night at the Phillies

On Friday, August 22, the men of the church are planning a night out to see our first place Phillies play the Los Angeles Dodgers. The cost of tickets and transportation is $26.00. Rotation Sunday School is Coming!

As you have no doubt heard, our elementary Sunday school program will be going through a major transition this Fall. We will be adopting what is known as "The Rotation Model". If you're not yet familiar with this new way of doing Sunday school you can check out the display in the main entrance, or go on-line to http://www.rotation.org/.

In order to "retool" for this new program, work will need to be done in our existing rooms. To that end, our children's Sunday school will be taking a break, beginning on Sunday, July 20.

We are excited about implementing the Rotation model, and want to make sure we are completely ready for its introduction on Sunday, September 7. We are sorry for any inconvenience, but as we all know, remodeling will do that. Just think how great it will be to hit the ground running in September with an exciting new program!

Vacation Bible School

Join us for SonWorld Adventure Park Vacation Bible School, 6:00 to 8:00 pm, July 28 through August 1. All children age three through fifth grade are welcome!
