Women’s Ministries at FPC are by women and for women. Our goal is to help women connect with one another so that together we can share and grow in Jesus Christ, producing the fruit of His Spirit. Some of the ways that we do this are:

Weekly Bible Studies

Throughout the school year we sponsor a mid-week Bible study during our Wednesday night Family Night. Meeting from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, these studies frequently get their content from Video materials, such as the Beth Moore series of studies, and are facilitated by one of the women in our church. Sunday School Classes

Like our mid-week Bible studies, our Women’s Sunday school class is frequently video driven and combines video instruction with large and small group discussions. Again, for up-to-the-minute information about our Sunday school class, contact Christie.

Semi-Annual Retreat

About every 18 months we plan a weekend away for spiritual growth, deepening friendships and fun activities. Our next retreat will be October 2-4, 2009, and will be held at America’s Keswick.

Special Events

Over the past few years we have been looking for ways for women to get together and deepen their relationships. A few of the things we have sponsored are a Spring Event—2008’s was a luncheon with the them of “Foods of the Bible”—a canoe trip and luncheon, and a Christmas Cookie Exchange.
